SafeOps

SafeOps is a security and compliance startup based in NYC, which offers its customers a robust suite of tools to keep their apps and web services secure. In partnership with the founder, I designed the SafeOps logo with a correlating kit of illustrations to use across a new marketing website. After the initial company launch, I continue to work together with the SafeOps team to lead the brand and product design, most recently contributing to the design of their desktop app.

Design Guidelines

I developed a straightforward branding system to serve as a baseline that is elastic enough to evolve with the product and business as they grow.

Onboarding Process

Alongside the team, I designed a step-by-step walkthrough to onboard new customers. Once their app is set up, the user receives relevant alerts when their app is at risk and what they need to do to fix it.

The SafeOps App

Although security and compliance is a very complicated matter, the SafeOps client app is concise, streamlined and cohesive. Once their app is set up, the user receives relevant alerts when their app is at risk and what they need to do to fix it. The user is also able to complete a number of other actions in the app itself, such as:

  • Viewing, Editing, and Adding new Red Teaming findings. The user can upload supporting evidence (such as video recording or screenshot)
  • Invite new team members, revoke permissions
  • Generate new API keys for integrations
  • View and Download Penetration Testing Reports
